The High Value Service Delivery Manager will oversee the secure movement of high-value and sensitive cargo across North America. This role is critical in protecting our customers’ premium goods while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. You will lead security-focused logistics processes, manage specialized handling teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain DeSpir’s reputation for reliability and integrity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:                         

 
  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable, a team focused on managing transportation operations tailored to high value customers that provides exceptional service in a in a 24x7x365 environment
  • Coordinate and monitor shipments to ensure adherence to customer specifications, security, and delivery requirements
  • Oversee operational processes for high value shipments, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, exception management, and communication in a manner that delivers an outstanding customer experience
  • Monitor GPS, geofencing, and other real-time tracking tools to maintain shipment visibility and prevent theft or loss
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, service issues, and complaints, providing timely resolutions
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, TSA, and other applicable regulations
  • Oversee quality control processes and investigate any service failures, implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Maintain records for audits and ensure readiness for inspections by regulatory authorities or customers
  • Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, temperature excursion rates, and customer satisfaction
  • Analyze service trends and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or at least five years Logistics experience required
  • Five plus years in supply chain management and at least three years in high value transportation  
  • Proven experience with complex shipment requirements
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for service excellence
  • Proficient in project management tools, CRM systems, and MS Office
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven
